This photo shows William J and Catherine Doherty in front of their homestead, west of Bowden, Alberta, Canada. Notice how stern looking they were when photos were taken in the "old days"! Catherine could be wearing a pin-on watch or brooch and, of course, William had the pocket watch. Robert Doherty figures the picture would have been taken about 1909.(NOTE): This, of course, means it will be 100 years old when we have our 2009 Reunion in Hanna, Alberta, Canada.
